The high-speed ferry from Bodrum to Kos takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. There are morning and afternoon departures. During summer season, multiple daily crossings are available.

❓ How long is the Fethiye to Rhodes ferry?

The ferry journey from Fethiye to Rhodes takes approximately 1.5 hours. Rhodes is the largest and most popular island in the Greek Dodecanese.

❓ How early should I book my ferry ticket?

Especially during summer season (June-September), ferries fill up quickly. We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. For public holidays and peak seasons, earlier planning is safer.

❓ Can I cancel my ferry ticket after purchase?

Ferry tickets are non-refundable after purchase. However, you have the right to reschedule (postpone) your ticket to another date within 6 months to 1 year. You must contact us via WhatsApp or phone at least 1 week before your travel date.

❓ Is there a luggage limit on the ferry?

Generally, each passenger is allowed 1 hand luggage + 1 medium-sized suitcase (max 20 kg) free of charge. Extra baggage fees vary between ferry companies. Please contact us before booking for detailed information.

❓ Can I take my car on the ferry to Greek Islands?

Yes, some routes offer car ferries. However, additional documents and insurance are required to bring your vehicle into Greece. Always consult us in advance for car travel.

Turkish exit procedures are completed before boarding the ferry, and Greek entry procedures are done upon arrival at the Greek island. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

On ferry journeys, all passengers regardless of age are subject to a fare (including newborn babies). However, child discounts apply:

❓ Do I need a visa to visit Greek Islands?

Yes, Greece is part of the Schengen Area. However, with the On-Arrival Visa system, you can travel from Bodrum, Fethiye, Kuşadası, Çeşme, and Ayvalık and stay in Greek Islands for up to 7 days. For longer stays or travel to mainland Greece, a Schengen visa is required.

No. Visa approval is entirely at the discretion of the consulate. As Blue Ferry Travel, we ensure your file is prepared completely and professionally. Our agency is not responsible if the visa is denied, and file preparation fees are non-refundable.

❓ How long does the Schengen visa process take?

It varies based on your appointment date. Generally, visa results come within 7-15 days after the appointment. This period may extend during busy times. Early planning is important.

❓ How do I get a Schengen visa appointment?

Schengen visa appointments are made through authorized consulate agencies (Gerry’s, VFS Global, iData, etc.). Blue Ferry Travel provides professional consultation throughout the appointment process. During peak season, appointments can be booked 1-2 months in advance, so early planning is essential.

❓ What should I do in case of visa refusal?

In case of visa refusal, we first review the refusal reason. However, there is an important rule to keep in mind:

⚠️ After receiving a visa refusal, you must wait at least 6 months before making any new visa applications, including on-arrival visas.

After the 6-month waiting period is complete, you can make a new application with strengthened documents. Blue Ferry Travel provides professional consultation throughout this process.
